Über das Werk:

Die Werke der Serie Hues of Healing sind die ersten Bilder, die ich seit langer Zeit ohne den Einsatz von Schwarz geschaffen habe. Sie entstanden aus dem Wunsch heraus, Farbe wieder stärker zu spüren und zu nutzen, nachdem ich mich über Jahre hinweg vor allem der Schwarz-Weiß-Malerei gewidmet hatte. Die Liebe zu dieser reduzierten Ausdrucksform hat sich bei mir über viele Jahre entwickelt, weil sie mir Ruhe und Klarheit in einer oft reizüberfluteten Welt bietet.

An die Serie Hues of Healing bin ich mit derselben Haltung herangegangen, mit der ich auch der Arbeit mit Farbe begegne: nicht im Detail verlieren, sondern Abstand gewinnen, um das Ganze zu sehen. Aus der Nähe wirken die Werke abstrakt, doch mit etwas Distanz lassen sich schemenhaft figurative Formen erkennen.

About the Artwork:
The pieces in the Hues of Healing series are the first works I have created in a long time without using black. They emerged from a desire to reconnect with color and use it more intentionally, after spending many years dedicated primarily to black-and-white painting. My love for this reduced form of expression developed over many years, as it offers me calm and clarity in a world that often feels overstimulating.
I approached the Hues of Healing series with the same mindset I bring to working with color: not getting lost in details, but gaining distance to see the whole. Up close, the works appear abstract, yet from a bit of distance, faint figurative shapes begin to emerge.

Quality prints for your walls


I worked on the development of high-quality art prints with tireless attention to detail and placed particular emphasis on quality. The motifs are printed on white FineArt paper made from 100% cotton Printed with Epson UltraChrome Pro inks, allowing for extra fine tonal differences. Six colors and three levels of black not only ensure special subtleties and emphasize every detail of the work of art, but are also extremely archive-proof.


The simple white and 5 cm wide motif border draws particular attention to the printed work of art. During the development process, I ensured that the prints do not just serve as decoration, but rather can develop their effect as an authentic work of art in their own right.


To make framing the prints easier, the motifs are available in the standard dimensions of 50 x 40 cm and 70 x 50 cm.
